This highly visible location is directly in front of SOMA (South of Market) Tattoo Shop, and we hope this project will not only reflect Galveston's creative spirit, but also become a draw for locals and visitors alike.

Be a part of our Mardi Gras history! In honor of the 37th celebration of the Krewe of Gambrinus’ family-friendly Mardi Gras parade, krewe members and artists from Galveston Island and the surrounding areas are invited to submit an official poster design depicting Gambrinus’ 2025 parade theme, “Fables & Folklore-Magical”.

The winning theme poster will be reproduced as a commemorative poster to be shared with members of the Krewe of Gambrinus and retail merchants. The poster design will also be displayed on the Krewe of Gambrinus website, social media and in our members’ newsletter. The artist with the winning poster will receive a $500 award.
